The Needing Spot

April 30, 2020 By Natalie

Clark won’t eat anything besides macaroni and Gushers.

I try every day. And I mess up. Every day.

From the mouths of moms, these are things I have heard-and quite recently at that.

You’ve heard them too.

Your girlfriends have said these things and you’ve jumped right in with something like this, “Did you see how you handled that name-calling episode? Top notch. Or how you calmed that scraped up toddler or angsty teenager with your touch and that big mama heart of yours? Well, I saw it. I see you. Take note, sister. You are remarkable.”

August 10, 2015

Strength training is super important for everyone to do – not just the athlete or the young adults or the men. We all need it! Strength training doesn’t mean spending an hour in the gym or bulking up like crazy though.

Sunday, That One Day

August 7, 2015

When we were growing up we had a computer game that we all loved to play on Sundays – “Sunday, That One Day.” It had fun activities to do as you went through the day with a little squirrel, his family, and a church congregation of other animals. It talked about how Sunday was the…

They’re All Here!

July 20, 2015

It has been a whirlwind six weeks around these parts. Three babies, two moves, and one sweet homecoming of our favorite (only!-but he would still be our favorite) brother from a two-year mission to Hungary.  So. Yeah. We’re tired.

Boy Scout Blue & Gold Banquet: Minion Style

July 16, 2015

When one of my best friends told me about the Blue & Gold Boy Scout Banquet she was working on, I knew we had to share it! It’s fun, creative, and simple and the activities could be adapted for all kinds of scouting activities-not just Blue & Gold. And-maybe my favorite part-they kept it to…
