White Chocolate Popcorn Snowballs

Popcorn Snowball-Let's Get Together

This is the perfect treat for the FROZEN Girls Camp Kick-off or for any Frozen themed party. (Buy an extra bag of York pieces-just for you. I’m not a York girl, but these dark chocolate peppermint pieces hit the spot. And they really flavor the whole snowball!)

POPCORN SNOWBALLS
* makes 12-15 balls

4 quarts popped corn
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons butter
4 cups mini marshmallows
2 cups white chocolate
1 (10.5 oz) bag of York Pieces (peppermint flavored dark chocolate – white and blue)

1. Sprinkle popcorn with salt. Melt butter in a large pan over low heat.  Add    marshmallows and chocolate; cook, stirring until melted.

2. Remove from heat; stir in popcorn and York Pieces. Line large muffin tins or ramekins with plastic wrap. Scoop popcorn into small containers, wrap plastic around and shape into balls, leaving in tins or ramekins.  Put in fridge to set up for 30 minutes.

3.  Remove plastic wrap. Put each popcorn snowball in a cellophane bag and tie with white and blue ribbons.

    […] Don’t be afraid to revisit some of  your favorite Christmas cookie recipes to fill out your party snack table. These Snowball Cookies are dusted with powdered sugar, calling to mind the snowy landscape from the film. Best of all, they pack a punch of flavor. Combine savory and sweet with Sven’s Snack Mix which includes pretzels, M&Ms, and more. You can also stick to the blue and white color scheme of the movie with these White Chocolate Popcorn Snowballs. […]
