**I received product from I See Me! but all opinions in the post are 100% my own.**
Last week we had one of those afternoons that looks and smells and feels like childhood. We rounded up the kiddos and headed out for the Utah State Fair.
There were carousels to ride,
an amazing farm-to-table interactive exhibit to walk through,
and animals to see (and smell…). SO many animals!
(We don’t have many pictures of this… it was an all-hands-on-deck kind of job to keep little people from jumping in to animal pens…)
That, my friends, is what baby boy loved the most. By far. This boy has always loved being around all things furry or fluffy, all things that bark and squawk.
But not every day is a State Fair kind of day where animals are lined up in warehouse for you to look and giggle and moo at. For the everyday kind of day, our go-to is books. And we just found a new favorite!
My Farm Friends from I See Me! is a personalized board book that simply can’t be beat. Personalized how? Well, let me tell you. Baby boy’s name is all over it-from the dedication on the first page to the last page of the story, his name pops up in the text and in the drawings. But that’s not all. When you order a product from I See Me! you have the option of uploading a high-resolution picture of your child. They do some cropping and resizing and then insert that face you love so much into the book.
Benson loves books-it’s in his genes and his daily schedule. But I’ve never seen him giggle the way he does whenever we pull this one out. He loves seeing his face and hearing his name-right next to darling illustrations of what he loves most-animals!
If you’re around here very often, you know we’re big fans of personalized gifts. Sometimes we make them, but sometimes we find them (and we’re thrilled that we save hours of time!). This is a great option as holiday gifting season approaches. My Farm Friends was perfect for our little guy, but there are so many options! I See Me just came out with a new book that looks amazing! It’s called M is for Me and it’s a personalized alphabet book. Beyond books (about princesses or pirates or Christmas and more…), there are lunchboxes, puzzles, coloring books, placemats, stickers, and growth charts.
Maybe most of all, I love the few minutes of snuggles I get when he settles in. Yes, I dream of instilling a love of reading in my children. I hope they have many nights staying up until 2am because they just have to find out what happens to a new favorite hero in a magical place. But for now, when he’s little, I’ll take my snuggles. They’re pretty perfect.
