What do kiddie pools, a quarter and a can of shaving cream have in common? Not much – but they are all used in these awesome group dating ideas! Our first “Group Dating for Teens” post was pretty popular, so we thought we’d bring you some more ideas with a focus on summer time! These 3 activities are done outside to enjoy the fresh air and a fun time with friends…and maybe get a little wet while you are at it. Not only would these activities be fun for a group date, they would also be perfect for youth activities. 

Shaving Cream Up-Dos
What You’ll Need:
     – 1 can of shaving cream per couple
     – a towel (to wear around the neck of the person getting their hair done)
     – trash bags for the floor (easy clean up!)
     – a whole lot of creativity!

For this game you’ll want the girls to all be sitting on a bench or chair of some sort with the towel around their neck. Make sure their hair is down and ready to be transformed into something beautiful! The guys line up behind the girls with their can of shaving cream. Set the timer for 5 minutes and once you say go let the guys work their magic on the girls hair. At the end of the 5 minutes, the couple with the best hair do wins!

Kiddie Pool Kickball
What You’ll Need:
     – 3 kiddie pools (we recommend the small, shallow, blow up kind)
     – a slip n’ slide
     – kickball 

This game is played just like normal kickball, except the bases are kiddie pools and then you have a slip n’ slide heading in to home base. So divide up into teams and have one team in the outfield and pitching and the others ready to kick. Don’t worry if you don’t have 3 kiddie pools or can’t find a slip n’ slide – just use whatever you can!

Electricity 
What You’ll Need:
     – 1 plastic cup filled half way with water
     – 1 coin

Electricity is such a simple game and so much fun! This can be played sitting at a long table or sitting on the ground. Divide up into two teams and have one team on each side of the table. One couple will sit out to be on either end of the table (one with the cup and one with the coin). Place the cup filled with water at one end and the coin on the other. Everyone holds hands under the table and the 2 people closest to the coin end of the table will watch the coin – everyone else must look away. The person on the end with the coin will flip the coin. If it ends on the tails side, nothing happens. If it ends on the heads side, the first person in the line will squeeze the hand of the next person. It then creates a flow of “electricity” as people squeeze hands down the line. The last person in line (at the cup end of the table) tries to grab the cup as soon as they feel a hand squeeze. They just have to get to it before the other team does! The team that won that round will then rotate with the person on the cup end of the table going to the coin end and everyone moving down. The goal is to get everyone through the line before the other team does!
